Santiago & Valparaíso Port
Compared to Buenos Aires, Santiago still has a long way to go. However, it has undergone a very positive transformation in the last few years - and how many capitals in the world have the snowy Andes as a backdrop?
With more than one third of all Chileans living here, you’re sure to catch a glimpse of every corner of this enchanting country from the moment you step foot in its territory. The hub for Chile, Santiago is a short drive away from attractive experiences ranging from Neruda´s heritage to wine tasting. Salud!

There’s something about Valparaíso… Valparaíso is the name of the central region of the country as well as that of one of the most unique port cities in the world. Its bohemian vibe, cultural atmosphere and breathtaking views will move all kinds of travelers. It has recently broadened its offer to those searching for luxury during their stay, but its mysterious charm wasn’t lost with this update. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but there’s something about the street art, the refreshing smell of the sea and the music that comes out of every other house along the way that makes locals and others linger for a while longer than anywhere else.

The region is home to a string of beaches towards the North, where Chileans enjoy their summer. The farther from Valparaíso city, the more exclusive and secluded the resort. And for the ones who have their eye set on enjoying what Nature has to offer, its multiple natural parks and reserves will do the trick. Those with an urge to taste local wines need look no further: this is the place to be and being at the same latitude as Mendoza, on the Argentinean side of the Andes, it is fairly easy to combine both destinations.
